Michael Ohlsson - CEO
As CEO of Tibra Investment Management, Michael leads the strategy and development of the asset management business. Michael has 28 years of experience in investment banking and financial services with the past 16 years being in funds management. He joined Tibra Investment Management in February 2009 after 3 years as CEO of Fidelity International’s Australian operation. Prior to that he was with Barclays Global Investors for 9 years in various Director roles. He has run businesses in both the institutional and retail sectors of the Australian funds management industry. His international financial services experience includes Asia, the US and the UK. Michael has a BA in Economics and Financial Studies and has completed post graduate courses in Financial Services.
Paul James - Director
Paul James has over 10 years experience in the financial sector as a specialist in technology infrastructure and operations. Paul joined Tibra Capital in 2008 as Head of IT Operations - Asia. He was previously IT Manager for MIR Investment Management Limited where he managed the technology infrastructure and support for the business. Previously he was employed at Commsec Technology Operations for 7 years and was regarded for his knowledge of both business and technology to achieve superior outcomes. Paul has a Bachelor of Economics (Money, Banking and Finance).
Clint Maddock - Director
Clint has been with Tibra Capital since its inception with trading expertise in a diverse range of products and markets; including Australia, Hong Kong, Japan and Korea. He is Manager of the Korea Desk and has trading and risk management responsibilities within Tibra Capital. He has a Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) with Honours and a Masters of Commerce.
